Youtube Wars - Tati's review of the Peel-off Makeup Trend

So the other day I stopped by Youtbe and watched my fix of make-up tutorials from Tati and what is my surprise but a video from her on my subscription feed  reviewing peel off make-up, but the tittle does also mentions on the title Disaster.  So I was "Oh Oh what happened".

Now I must disclaim I am not the biggest fan of Tati's due to several facts but mainly because she has very similar looks on most of her videos. However I do like her consistency and the fact that she tries hard to be fair and truthful with her reviews.

Of course products all work differently for everyone out there. I think this is probably the most usual disclaimer youtubers give at the start of all their videos. I think it should be common sense that people will have different opinions about most topics, why would makeup be any different, right ?

It was very obvious that she did not like this item. As always she gives her reasons, and close-up shots of what the product looks like. You know, your standard review. But oh no after I scrolled down to the comments I realized that some people were taking things well too seriously. To make things short, After looking at the comments I was totally like "oh here we go again" To nobody's surprise this is an Asian product and there were so many key warriors on the comment section claiming some of the following:

  • Pifpuff you don't know what you are talking about because this product is good and you are just a white evil satan lady who doesn't know crap about make-up.

  • This is just a cheap Chinese product and not the beautiful Korean counterpart so whatever you (Tati) say is not valid.

  • How dare you say that this isn't good?!! You are just jealous that you are not able to enjoy all the much better/superior products from Asia.
  • You should review all Asian products. They are oh sooooo much more superior than any Western crap you've been trying all these years.

  • You are using it wrong you little b****

  • Your onion doesn't matter because this other Youtuber I saw (Who happens to bend over backwards for anything Asian btw) says they work ok?!!
  • You moved your mouth damn it! How dare you move your mouth in a period of 30 minutes! Gahhd!

  • You don't like this product? We don't like youuu!! >_<

  • I have a Korean friend, and she told me she loves this product so you are a crazy-head for not following the instructions because there is no way you could have a different opinion than other people on this specific type of make-up ! :O

Well just to give my 2 cents on the overall comments,
I did not agree with the amount of aggressive comments
or the logic behind them due to where this make-up comes from.

Some people's arguments is that they weren't upset because she made faces when the product got into her mouth / or because she threw the products away but because that is disrespectful and inconsiderate.

FYI if you have seen other of her videos she has already done that when products are just total fails (Off the top of my head she did that with a WTF review on a primer she purchased while she was moving houses). Why did no one bat an eyelash then? I'll tell you why. Because in those other videos, she is not reviewing an Asian product therefore she is not attracting the Asian boos from the Internet.

This products was a total fail in HER OPINION and the product had hints of being toxic (Which is not a crazy assumption since the price is so cheap and coming from China) and that is why she was not happy when the lip product got into her mouth and was not willing to try it again. If she will not try it again there is no point in keeping it so I don't know why her throwing away the products would be a big deal.

My other point is that people were saying that she should not say anything and keep quiet since the product that she has is not a specific brand from Korea (Berrison I believe) but a Chinese brand.
I do not see her saying anywhere on her video that she hated ALL brands of peel off makeup trend there is out there. She said she specifically did not like this brand of peel off make-up. It's like saying she did a review about ELF's new concealer, and because she did not like it people demand her to try a Maybelline one just because that one is supposed to be better. The review at that moment is specific to the ELF's concealer not about all concealers out there. Isn't that obvious ?? Gosh~

On another note I am so tired of people keeping on saying that every Asian product is oh so superior to anything made outside Asia. I must pull from my own personal experience. I have purchased a bunch of Tony Moly and Skinfood makeup products online and they were more than disappointing due to the time it took to arrive and the less than spectacularly different quality.

Since they are items being shipped from overseas it took foreverrrr to get to me. They were pricier than what they retail for in Korea so I pretty much ended up paying for something that I would have paid for over here in my local drugstore. And the products themselves - they were just like the regular eyeshadows that I have tried over here from ELF, Maybelline, etc with the difference that I couldn't return any of the ones I didn't like because well that's just not possible. Here in the US I can return anything I didn't like even if it's a cheap drugstore item. There are products that are excellent that are sold in the North America/Europe  and I'm sure there are excellent products sold in Asia. But to say that everything coming from a side of the world should be automatically good because of where it comes from it's a bunch of Balloney -___- And it really pissed me off that all these Koreaboos rushed to this video because someone dared stain in anyway any product coming from their beloved Korea/Asia.

Ughhh with all the Koreaboos. Ughhhhhh

UPDATE:

I was sooooo glad when Tati decided to follow up and try the products again just to appease the masses. She still did not like it and did not recommend it. I was like a proud mama seeing that even though all these people were flooding her video like piranhas calling her names, insulting her and demanding that she like this product, she stood her ground, actually gave it another fair shot and voiced her thoughts on the matter once again.

I actually was conflicted on seeing her second try of these products because she rarely does that with any products she has not liked before. But I guess she felt the pressure from those viewers who would not let the matter go.

Prettiest SNSD Member AKA Best Face Ranking

The iconic Girls Generation. I must say that I truly think this is the most plain-looking group of girls I have seen debuting in a sea of idols.

Most of them, however have greatly improved their appearance since their humble beginnings. But even if their clothes have gotten better and their hair, make-up and styling have all come into the 21st century, I still don't think that any of them are stunning or beautiful.
In this list I will be taking all 9 original members into account as I believe Jessica is still one of their most popular and influential members.

~So let's get this party started!!!!~

9th Place goes to
.
.
.
.
.
.
.

Yuri

(Dark beauty baby)

Why? My problem with Yuri isn't that she is dark, it's more with the fact that she doesn't own it. I feel like the type of makeup she always has on is trying to mimic what works for say Yoona or Taeyong. I wish she would be the "sexy" member and be put in more bronze beachy beautiful looks. I mean the girl has the body to back it up for sure. She also seems to be the least versatile when it comes to hair styles. She can only pull off the wavy long hark hair. Anything else is given to her and she can't handle it.

Her yo-yo weight throughout the years has also been a polemic issue with fans.
Yuri definitely has a hot body but when she gains a little bit of weight, her face becomes really really chubsters.

The girl isn't pretty but she is the one Hot member in this group according to muahh.

8th Place goes to
.
.

.
.
.
.

Hyeoyeon
(Eyebrows matters!)

Why? The girl has definitely gotten prettier since debut.
From hair color and styling, to her actual face transformation, Her fans keep saying that she didn't have anything done, but I think it's quite evident that she did.
I mean I'm not against plastic surgery except when it becomes excessive, and I think Hyeyeon has done just enough to make her quite pretty and natural.

Still I think a girl who keeps their natural looks is always prettier looking up-close
than a girl who has gone under the knife does. It's just one of those things that up-close is pretty hard to fool the eyes.

But still kudos to her who managed to improve her appearance so drastically.

7th Place goes to
.
.
.
.
.
.
.

Sunny

(The connections brat)

Why? Many Netizens call her ugly all the time. I really don't think she is ugly, but then again I don't think she is beautiful either. Cute would be her one card to play against the others. Also the fact that she has a bababoom chest. He body in general is just ehhhh (that means it's good but not all that) but her chest is probably her most talked about feature.

7th Place only seems appropriate for the queen of the cute.

6th Place goes to
.
.
.
.
.
.
.

Sooyoung

(SouthEast Star)

Why? I like her. I don't care what netizens say.
She has a regal body figure and has a cute face with big eyes.
I personally like short hairstyles on her better than long ones. I think it makes her look that much more like a star.

I think a lot of people in Korea never seem to like her due to her skin-tone.
Because she is not pale like a effing sheet of paper they assume she can not be considered pretty or beautiful. Very close-minded and stupid. I know.
A girl is pretty no matter their skin tone. If they are pretty, they are pretty.

On the other side of the coin I think her biggest physical thumbs down would have to be how wide her face can appear at times. It's definitely not fat, because the girl is as thin as one can be, but it's just her really protruding cheekbones. This also makes her face look really disproportionate to her body. Giant head Sooyong.

Still she is pretty OK in my book.

5th Place goes to
.
.
.
.
.
.
.

Seohyon

(The soul-less robot)

Why? The girl is a natural beauty judging from her past pictures.
She is pretty in every sense based on Korean standards:
Has long black hair, fair(ish) skin, round eyes, small nose and mouth, and tall body.

My problem with her is the complete lack of emotion coming out of her.
Her eyes are just on one channel all the time. Which is very surprising because she was chosen for a girl group which should be for very outgoing cute girls.

I think she is pretty in the very conservative, girl next door way.
She is just not an exciting beauty to look at.

4th Place goes to
.
.
.
.
.
.
.

Jessica

(The cold/ice traitor)

Why? Jessica, although I don't think she is naturally beautiful since obviously
she's suffered a very nice transformation throughout the years since her debut.

Jessica is definitely a chic girl. I love her fashion/style ;) and just her overall look.
But since this is a 'best-face' list I must say that although not beautiful,
she certainly has a unique look to her.

I think she pulls off blonde, orange, brown hair extremely well.
I think I usually lean for the most unique looking faces because
it helps me distinguish them easier so it's no surprise that I am more drawn by Jessica than by Seohyon or Sooyoung.

Now for the last 3 places......

3rd Place goes to
.
.
.
.
.
.
.

Yoona

(The Plainest Korean Super Beauty)

Why? I've always thought Yoona as overrated
(If you want specific details as to why I have a whole post about it here) but although I talk a lot about her face being on the "comfortable plain" kind of pretty, I still have to put her on the top 3 when compared with all the SNSD girls here.

She has a sleek body and wears clothes well, has pretty skin, and just looks comfortable to look at and although not beautiful she is better than the other already mentioned girls.

2nd Place goes to
.
.
.
.
.
.
.

Tiffany
(Pony's Mother)

Why? I really think think has a bad rep about being a horse face :p
But I don't think that defers from her good looks.
She has a very pleasant "handsome" face lol
and her skin is one of the best in SNSD according to me.

Her body is whatevs I guess, not my cup of tea, but overall she is an above average member in a group of less-than impressive girls.

I approve of Tiffany (Big & enthusiastic thumbs up)

1st Place goes to
.
.
.
.
.
.
.

Taeyong

(The kid leader)

Why? Definitely the cutest and prettiest of this bunch. I won't touch on her personality because who cares what's on the inside am I right ? ;)  (C'mon I kid..)
However, I have to admit that she has a very youthful face, with all the right features.

I think she pulls off all the looks that have been given to her so far and that's usually when I know a girl is really pretty and not just relying on hair styles or outfits.

Which is why she definitely deserves 1st place.

According to me of course because duh it's my blog so obviously everything here is my opinion
(For the haters who keep saying "Well that' just your opinion. No one cares..."
well what did you expect while reading someone's personal blog? To read back your own thoughts *cray cray*) Ok mini rant ovarrr ;)

Miss A Best face Ranking

Oh the girls of Miss A
So much promise in the beginning, so many expectations
The best debut song from any Korean girl group I have ever seen.
But it all was shortly lived as song after song after their successful debut, never lived up to the success of their first single "Bad girl Good girl".
When it was evident that neither Min, Jia, or Fei had what it takes to at least make it into variety shows, it was evident that the group as a whole wasn't going to be the big 'it' group people had been expecting them to be.

Yet, I still created this list as Miss A is still a very popular group and some of their members are relevant AF.

So here we go~

4th place goes to (Last place :[ )
.
.
.
.
.
.

Min
(Little minion)

Why? Sorry for being blunt but she is just too short and wide
and she is just not proportionate.
Her height wouldn't be so obvious if her face was small but mmmm if you've seen her you can tell that isn't the case. Her face is way too round like a full moon and her legs are too short and chunky.

When I first saw her in the team I thought she would at least be the really cool dancer
but Fei is wayyyy better than her at it, so I thought ok then maybe she can rap but nope that wasn't it either and she is definitely not the lead singer in the group.

I am really at a loss as to why JYP was so adamant on making her debut.
I keep thinking that maybe it had something to do with the fact she had been a trainee for so long and felt bad.

Still, she is not ugly but when compared to soooo many other girl group members she is definitely lacking in the looks department.

So I'm sorry girl, 4th place it is.

3rd place goes to (First Guess please)
.
.
.
.
.

Fei
(Awkward/Talented Chinese kid)

Why? I know I know everyone is always saying she is second prettiest in Miss A,
but although she is talented and I'm sure a nice girl she isn't that interesting or beautiful. She is pretty and has a really nice body but she is just very plain looking.

Her lips for some reason bother me. They are kind of stretched out and full but not in a nice way, and the orange-blond hair color choice is not my favorite for her.
I think she looks better with darker hair.
Maybe a dark mahogany brown would suit her better.
Definitely no orange or brass color for her.

A lot of people  say if JYP gave her the support they give Suzy, she would be as famous as her but I really doubt it. Believe me I love a tan beauty but there is not much coming from within to help her stand out. She is very awkward and whenever I see her on an interview
I feel like she would rather be anywhere but there.
It might be the language barrier but I think she is really shy and her smile makes me feel bad for her because it really feels like she is always uncomfortable.

So yeah that's why I couldn't honestly put her as second place.
I don't just go with what everyone else say ;)

2nd place place already (Lovinggggg it)
.
.
.
.
.

Jia
(Cool Chinese Kid)

Why? She is unique and cool but although not beautiful. Due to her unique look, I would say I'm more drawn to her than I am drawn to Min or Fei. Jia is a cool Chinese chick and her style is more up my alley than the other 3.

I think her biggest physical flaw to me is her nose. It's flat and wide and that makes for difficult beauty shots so as expected she has very few of those. Also her body type is cool for some girls because it seems like the type to fit clothes easily since she is so skinny BUT me no likey.

She is way too flat from both ends and sides. Literally an 8 year-old boy type of body.

But still can't deny she has a very awesome personal style which is cool in my book and enough to put her in a very impressive second place.

1st place (Easiest 1st place to guess)
.
.
.
.
.

Suzy
(Queen of Queens)

Why? I mean c'mon the girl could have oily dirty hair, a booger coming out of her nose, and a huge zit on her forehead and she would still be
one of the greatest Korean beauties of today.

Haters say she is "plain" (WTH :O) but if she is plain then please God make me plain.
To me she will leave an iconic image after her for decades to come.
And I'm not even going to get on her personality because the girl is an angel.

But even if she was a bitch I would still have to recognize her beauty because
she is seriously a queen.

Keep slaying queen and make that dough because you are one of he few celebrities who seems completely sincere with everything she says or does in front and behind he camera.

Demi Lovato interview hits home

Every now and then I read interviews by celebrities that actually pull at some serious heartstrings inside me. In this case it was the unexpected short interview I saw on Yahoo news by teen celeb Demi Lovato.

The interview's title was focused on how the young celeb shut down her haters at one of her concerts. But the part of the interview that was more interesting to me was the fact that she subconsciously and on purpose keeps friends at bay.

Lovato admits that she sometimes unintentionally distances herself from her friends and its up to those around her like boyfriend Wilmer Valderrama to call her out on her own shenanigans.

“Wilmer is that person,” she says, adding that her BFF Marissa is another pal she can rely on.

“Sometimes I’ll isolate a little bit. I won’t reply to people’s text messages, or I’ll just distance myself from everyone unintentionally, and she’s the first one to call me out on it,” Lovato says. “It’s because I’m going through something. I’m stressed or depressed.”

I tend to do the same thing many times. I think I always feel like to a certain degree I always have to act when I'm around other people. Even people I've known some people for awhile, I still feel like I have to portray some sort of character.

I've always been a loner, so it is no surprise that I have this pressure to act more excited, or happier than how I would naturally act if I was alone. Not to say I'm fake, I just have to make myself have a little nicer, or cooler than what I actually am (haha I'm cool but not that cool it's what I mean ;])

Because of this, many times, I cancel on plans with friends at the last minute, I don't reply right away in fear I'll get coaxed into going out. Sometimes other people cancel on me, and I think 90% of the time, I've had a rush of excitement come into me. I think the only times I have actually felt annoyed/negatively affected by it, is when I was already dressed up and was actually looking forward to going out. If that's not the case, then I'm like, oh yeah a whole day of not getting out of my PJs day is here.

Even when I'm shopping, I would rather do it alone. I like watching movies or shows by myself as well.and doing random video browsing (If I feel like drawing a picture of my dog on Paint, damn it I wanna do it alone).

Of course, after a while of being by myself, it does feel nice to meet with friends and have good conversations as a group. Currently I have a boyfriend of 3 years, and he is one of the only people I can be with even when I don't wanna hang out with anyone else. And he constantly wants me around, so we spend a lot of time together; but even with him I get overwhelmed and need times when I have to be alone - to recharge myself.

I guess everyone is different, and at times I guess I wish I could just be a little more outgoing and perky by nature. But I'm not, and I can't keep on wishing to change what I can't. My suggestion to anyone having the same issue would be to just try to accept who you are. Sounds like the most cliche advise I know, but it is the only thing that will truly make you happy. It's is more important to make yourself happy after all.

So if you don't like going out as often as your friends, then just decline when you don't feel like going out, and hang out with them when you do. If they are your friends they should get it. Explain to them, that you need to have your alone moments because of the nature of your personality.

XoXo

KoreaBoos. Korea’s lovers. Wannabe Koreans.

There are many names one can give to this phenomenon
koreaboos, korealovers, oppa gangman style, nerds, koreancrazed, other weeaboo.
But  "rose by any other name would smell as sweet" and whatever you want to call it, one thing is for sure Koreaboos are on the rise.

If you’ve been following the Korean entertainment industry, it’s 99% likely you’ve come across some of these specimens. So...

What is a Koreaboo and what's wrong with being one?

Koreaboo – Someone with usually very high and delusional images/perceptions of Korea. They tend to

  • Be really involved in K-Pop, K-dramas, K-Varieties, pretty much K-everything!!
  • Have very little social interactions in the real world. No friends that they can actually high five :/
  • Idolize Korea and anything to do with it (ohhh Koreans don’t poop, they release rose petals when they go to the toilet)
  • Be very immature and usually in their teen years (Not always, but in most cases)
  • Deny they are Korea’s boos (Me? No, I’m not Koreaboo oppa-ya)
  • Say in more than one instance they wish they were Korean (Why can’t I be in Korean and stalk oppa in peace?)
  • Always make excuses to argue that Korea and Koreans are better than other countries/places  J (Even their own! This is what makes them more detestable to me -_- have some love for your country you little shits)
  • Want to move to Korea and marry oppa/unnie/ ANY Korean!! (Ohh my dream is to be in Korea, marry a Korean, and have Korean babies, and of course go to the toilet and release rose petals as a true Korean would) ;)
  • Hate on their own countries/people because compared to Korea, they are total low-class and not cute at all compared to all the Koreans who happen to be perfect.

So now that you’ve been able to identify a Koreaboo let’s go into the next question

What leads to someone to become a Koreaboo?

  •  First of all there can be many and unique reasons for this to happen. Many have to do with the fact that many of koreaboos are still kids (<18). So it should come as no surprise that they are easily impressed, and can over-generalize any new trend they discover on the Internet. Age definitely plays a factor on becoming a Koreaboo from what I’ve seen before. After all, tween and teen year are a very susceptible and impressible age to be in.I’m pretty sure there are adults in the Koreaboos bandwagon (If you are one, what are you doing with your life?!), but most of them are just immature kids who still need to grow up and get out a little more.
  • Second, a lot of these kids are socially lacking meaning that they might be more of the introvert/nerdy/lonely type. That is why when they find a new sub-culture, they become so attached to it. This can be seen with many other subcultures such anime lovers, star-wars nerds, etc. I find it that a lot of these people burying their entire lives into a fandom are people with very few/zero real-life friends that can take them out of their trance. This is why when they find a ‘new world’ online, they completely immerse in it.
  • Third, they have had a hard time immersing in the society that they are in. Even if they have friends, they feel like they don’t fit in, or feel a constant uncomfortable feeling inside regarding their social skills. Most Koreaboos have no life outside the internet and live very secluded lives. Perhaps they go to school, and say hi to some people, but most of their free time is spent in their room alone with their computers as their only friend. Koreaboos tend to spend all their weekends in their rooms watching Korean dramas, variety, MV’s etc. Dreaming away to the day they are finally found by their fav K-Pop star

Again, factors vary person to person, but after days of research and years of reading koreaboos testimonials and of course my own brief experience as a koreaboo I can tell you that most of these are at least partially correct.

So are you a koreaboo? If you are, what are the reasons that made you one? Let’s gather some data here for future generations ;)

Secret’s Best face Ranking

Secret is a group which could/should have done much better than it actually did. In the start they were head to head with SISTAR in the top up-and-coming groups, but not long after SISTAR rose while Secret not only did they got stuck but they fell hard on the list of top girl groups.

They were never the better looking group compared to groups such as Kara, nor the most talented (Like SPICA), and there wasn't one member that stood out much. However, they still had their shinning moments and for a brief instances it seemed like they would be alright.

Oh well, life works in mysterious ways, hopefully they do better once they go solo (As you can see I've lost hope that they will achieve much as a group at this stage)

Look at them looking so innocent and new

But I still enjoyed their songs back in the day, and thought the girls were cute and hard working, so for memories sake I will create my list of who I think is/was the most beautiful face of the group.

Starting with:

.
.
.
.

4th Place

Hana / Zinger
(Little worse looking Song Ji Eun)

Why? – I feel bad that so many netizens called her the ugliest girl-group member since like ever :/ but I guess she wasn’t the best looking in the group if we are being honest and shallow here. She does look better now after all the surgery, however the procedures are very apparent and that takes away from her beauty.

Natural (At least natural-looking) is still preferred.

.
.
.
.

3rd Place

Ji Eun
(Little worse looking Hyoseon)

Why? She looked really similar to Zinger and Hyoseong when I first got into this group. But her face proportions are on the softer side compared to Zinger. However she is definitely more average looking compared to Hyoseong.
She is still alright, just nothing special face-wise.

Girl can pose though and she is cute, though I've never been a fan of the hair color she mostly had during Secret's promotions. I think reddish dark brown is her best hair days.

You cute though so third place goes to you (Yay) ;)

.
.
.
.

2nd  Place

Hyoseong
(Big boobs gurlll)

Why? Although her surgeries recently have been a true unfortunate shame, I still think she is the one Secret member with the cutest face/smile. And I’m a girl but I gotta admit her chest is definitely sexy and very alluring. She is probably my original Bagel girl I truly liked and who I could see as a natural beauty. Too bad that she wasn’t satisfied and started messing with her face (which was just fine to begin with), but she still my favorite girl in the group.

I originally put her as the first place but when I started looking for pics to post of her & Sunhwa and it made me realize that Sunhwa is better looking than her and way more photogenic so yeah I had to change my ranking at the last minute. :/

But hey, I'm a professional ;] and I can adjust to sudden changes.

.
.
.
.

1st Place

Sunhwa
(Pretty Thumb face)

Why? – She is pretty. Her skin looks good, she had good body proportions and she is overall good looking. She is better from afar than Hyoseong but her face has definitely had work done, and her chin and jaw situation are definitely distracting. It always looks like her lower lip is hanging loose. One thing though she is the most unique looking in the entire group and that to me is always going to be bonus points.

As mentioned above and although I still prefer Hyoseong overall look, once can't deny that Sunhwa is the more proportionate and overall better looking most photogenic one of the bunch.

I still think she kinda looks like a thumb =_= but a pretty (Just manicured) thumb ;) and a thumb that won first place in terms of face beauty in the entire group.

Well that was unexpected but I like that I'm woman enough to admit that I could be wrong (But just a lil bit) and I can change my mind under a minute (Wait, is that good or bad?).

I feel like I just pulled a Steve Harvey at the end.

The revenge of SM ugly duklings

The Untouchable SM with their sea of pretty faces. It is widely knows that their main criteria when choosing group members or artists in general is that looks are extremely important to them. But there are always exceptions.

I do not buy into the popular belief that all the people coming out of SM are gorgeous human beings. Several of them are just not all that. And there are several examples of this. However it is always nice to see girls who have been overlooked for so long being more and more appreciated by the general public.

Here are some girls who I think have overcome their ugly-duckling syndrome and have finally seen the spring in their lives :D

SNSD - Hyoyeon

Probably from the get go Hyeoeon was the most overlooked member in all of SNSD. Although possessing a charming fun personality, her looks were not noticed or as highly regarded as any of the other girls in the group. Her height wasn't the best, and if she had a cute look like Sunny's at the very least, she could have pulled in more fans. However her looks were always not so popular with Korean fans (Although she had quite a few international fans).

For a long time she was the ugly duckling of SNSD. Although she hasn't isn't the most good looking member I always liked her personality so I truly wish that her popularity would increase. This girl was funny and easy going and I always feel for the not-so-popular girl in a group (Probably my own liking for underdogs).

Fast Forward to 2013 and you can see a shift in her looks. I'm going to say that the main features that seems to have changed in her are her brows, weight and nose, Some are saying that she has had lots of plastic surgery but I disagree. I think it is mainly a different styling from hair, clothes and make-up. Her brows have become more Korean-like with the ever so popular straight/thick eyebrows.

You go girl. You keep looking better and better every year. Go get those fans and those solo pictorials :)

FX - Luna

I think the biggest jaw-dropping transformation has been that of Luna from F(x). She went from being totally rough, dark, thick looking paired with the worst hair color ever to actually really good looking.

I think her diet has impacted her new look the most. I know most people think that she has undergone plastic surgery all over her face but I think the most dramatic changes have definitely come from her drastic lost of weight. Perhaps some procedures have happened like Botox, or other injections but I don't think there is any other major procedures to her. Her legs might be a different story as like many people have mentioned, even with weight lost, its very hard to lose muscles in your legs. I guess in Korea there are shots that have become popular for leg muscles (Even Sulli was accused of using it) and if any procedures have been done on Luna, then these shots are most likely true.

Maybe I'm just not good at detecting plastic surgery, but I've always felt that when plastic surgery has been done in a lot of areas in one's face it's obvious and end up looking unnatural (Park Bom, Boram, Seo Woo).

Her styling and choice of hair color has definitely improved as well and this has elevated her look.

I'm glad that she is gaining positive attention since the girl is talented and seems very sweet, so good going girl.

I think the good transformation brings hope to other ugly-duckling hopefuls.

Don't lose hope:

Big Bang’s Best face Ranking

Oh one of my favorite boy bands. They have achieved legendary status by now.
I started like them for 2 things their music and baby-faced G-dragon :*

With this piece of information, I think one can say I am biased in this list.
Hopefully you don't already know who is in first place ;)

So without further ado let's get started.

5st  Place
.
.
.
.

Daesung
(Ugly Duckling)

Why? Oh poor soul. He is not the most good-looking face
even when compared to the average guy walking on the street.

So when you take into consideration
that he is in one of the most iconic boy groups in K-Pop,
one cannot help but wonder How?

He is talented and funny,
so my best guess can only be that
this is what pulled him ahead of the other
hopeful trainees in YG.

Good job!! ;)

4th  Place
.
.
.
.

Seungri
(Awkward Maknae)

Why? He a’right. He is not ugly nor handsome.
He is not the sexiest or the cutest.
But he definitely has his good days and looks ok within the group.

He is neither this or that, and in all honesty I don’t care for his personality all that much.
But hey at least he looks better than Daesung (Sorry man).

3rd Place
.
.
.
.

Taeyang
(Short Sexy Beast)

Why? He is the sexy beast of Big Bang. There I said it. He is sexayyyy.
From his eyes to his voice, and his muscles
(Not too buff but defined enough to make me want to grab him and rip his shirt off
whooo, Is it getting hot in here or what? :D

The thing that brings him down in term of looks is his height
(Which unfortunately isn’t fixable)
and his very questionable styling choices
(google Taeyang airport fashion).

Boy sure is hot though so number 3 it is.

2nd Place
.
.
.
.

Top
(Sexy voice Giraffe)

Why? Oh Top. I just think he has the cutest face. He just makes me want to hug him.
Plus his raspy voice and awesome rapping makes me weak in the knees.

He is a very charismatic member and the mystery around
his image is quite alluring if I say so myself.

Number 2 to you dearest TOP.

Surprise Surprise :)

1st Place is
.
.
.
.

G-Dragon
(Baby-faced Leader)

Why? The leader, the fashion diva, the song-writer.
Everything about G-Dragon screams number 1.
He is unique, cute, charismatic, irresistible.

He is just the undeniable winner of this whole ranking.
G-dragon’s face goes good with anything.
Clothes, hairdos, haircolors. Granted some are not as good as others
but he still pulls them off way better than almost anyone else I can think of.

Thanks for giving me so many nights filled with dreams about you.
(In those dreams I'm always the main girl in all your music videos, yay :D)
